According to Jagannath Khatiwada, head of the publicity department, a meeting of the Socialist Party secretariat held in Kathmandu on Friday decided to propose Yadav for the position of chief whip of the House of Representatives. He said that Harka Bahadur Singh was appointed to the position of head of the party’s Far Western Provincial Committee at the meeting. Khatiwada said that the meeting addressed the topic of improving the party’s internal structure.
