Twenty new corona cases have been reported in Sikkim in the last 24 hours (July 6), and one person has passed away. The state now has 59 active COVID-19 cases, and the infection rate is 12 percent, according to data issued by the Department of Health.
There have been 455 deaths in the state as a result of the corona to date, and 8 people have made full recoveries in the past 24 hours.
Twenty out of the 164 samples tested on the previous day tested positive, according to the Department of Health’s Daily Status Report.
There are 17 cases from the eastern area, 2 cases from the south, and 1 case from the northern region among the new positive cases. At the same time, there are currently 39,284 corona infections in the state overall, and there are also 38,013 persons who are recovering from corona infections.
