On behalf of the organization, Chairman Kusum Lata Singh presented Traffic Police Office Chief Umesh Raj Joshi with a public awareness sticker on Wednesday.
Joshi, the chief of the traffic police office, spoke at the event and said that the stickers will be put up on public transportation in association with businessmen in the transportation industry.
He said that raising public awareness was necessary and that simply adding additional lanes would not be sufficient to fix the traffic issue.
Like this, Singh stated that the group was trying to support the police’s efforts to end sexual and other forms of abuse against women.
With the distribution of the stickers, the Valley Traffic Police Office began posting public awareness stickers on Wednesday against violence against women in vehicles.
