The China-Nepal Literary Forum, organized jointly by the Chinese Writers’ Association and the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan, has started online on July 5. Many good writers from China and Nepal took part in the event.
The “Literary Fiction on the Silk Road” forum was the first to be organized following a three-year pandemic, and this year celebrated the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan, according to Thi Ning, President of the Chinese Writers’ Association. He stated that modern Chinese poetry would be published in Nepal this year and highlighted that literary contact between the two nations has continued despite the effects of the pandemic.
Ganga Prasad Upreti, the head of Nepal’s Pragya Pratisthan, expressed satisfaction that such an interaction event had been organized despite the pandemic. He remembered the two organizations’ recent successful programs and told them of their achievements while expressing his great satisfaction.
