Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the problems between the two parties should be taken as normal.
Unveiling a statue of Koirala at the Girija Prasad Koirala Workers’ Memorial Building in Anamnagar on Tuesday, Prime Minister Deuba said that there were problems within own party, and it was natural for there to be problems within the coalition formed by different parties.
Similarly, Prime Minister Deuba recalled the role played by Girija Prasad Koirala in bringing the Maoists, who started the armed insurgency, into the peace process.
He said that Koirala, who has gone through difficult political ups and downs, has played an important role in establishing democracy in Nepal.
Prime Minister Deuba said that the government was positive to build a historical museum at Jutmil in Biratnagar where Koirala started the labor movement.
On the occasion, Congress Vice President Dhanraj Gurung said that the alliance should move forward in the right way for the defense of the constitution.
Vice President Gurung recalled that the late Koirala was an efficient organizer.
Similarly, President of Nepal Trade Union Congress Pushkar Acharya said that Nepal Trade Union Congress has been playing a significant role in protecting the rights of workers.
