Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the Prime Minister should take immediate action against the Ministry of Finance for not keeping CCTV footage.
Talking to media persons at the Parliament House on Monday, Thapa said that the Prime Minister should take immediate action on the response of the Ministry of Finance that the CCTV footage would be limited to 13 days.
He said that the Finance Minister should resign immediately after the issue of tax manipulation was raised or the Prime Minister should remove the Finance Minister and investigate.
Stating that the issue of tax in the budget passed by the parliament is not a common issue, he said that it should be concluded through investigation.
He said that the Finance Ministry’s statement that only three months of CCTV footage should be kept for only 13 days has raised many questions.
