Seven provinces bringing a budget of Rs 275 billion

Kathmandu, June 15

Today, state governments around the country publish their budgets for the fiscal year 2079/80.

This is the final budget of the state government’s five-year term.

The state governments will make the budget public today in accordance with the
Intergovernmental Finance Management Act-2074 BS, which specifies that the budget shall be made public on June 15.

The majority of state governments have budgeted for the current fiscal year’s initiatives and plans.

Province 1 expects to bring in Rs 38 billion, Madhes Rs 34 billion, Bagmati Rs 60 billion, Gandaki Rs 30.96 billion, Lumbini Rs 41 billion, Karnali Rs 36.54 billion, and Far Western Rs 34 billion in the coming fiscal year.
