The FIFA World Cup is held every four years in the summer. The World Cup football atmosphere had to be sweltering at the time. However, because of the scorching weather in Qatar, the World Cup was postponed to the winter months this time.

All 31 World Cup matches, which will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, have been confirmed. Costa Rica defeated New Zealand 1-0 in the Intercontinental Playoffs on Tuesday night to become the final team to qualify for the World Cup.

Costa Rica is in a tough group since FIFA has officially confirmed the World Cup group stage. Costa Rica is part of Group E, which also includes Spain, Germany, and Japan.

Four North American nations, including Costa Rica, have been selected for the Qatar World
Cup. Six Asian nations will compete in the World Cup for the first time, alongside 13 European teams. The World Cup will include five African nations and four South American teams.

The 22nd FIFA World Cup will be held in eight venues across five cities in Qatar.
In Group A, the Netherlands will face Senegal in the first match.
