On Thursday, the stock market’s Nepse index fell by double digits. The market was slightly constrained in May, as it continued to drop. On Thursday, though, it did not last.
The first hour was a bit of a flurry of activity. Following then, the rapidly dropping market dropped 17.58 points to 2062.86 points.
On Wednesday, the stock market had risen 60 points. On Thursday, investors in finance and
development banks experienced the biggest losses, with all categories in the red. On Thursday, a total of 410,54,104 shares of 229 firms were exchanged in 30,762 transactions.
On this day, the total transaction value was 1 billion 477 million 26 thousand 90 thousand 554 rupees. There was a positive cycle in the upkaar microfinance industry on Thursday.
The stock of Balefi Hydropower increased by 9.99 percent to Rs 246. On Thursday, shares of the promoter, Nepal Investment Bank, fell 6.61 percent to Rs 236 while Singati Hydropower lost 5.34 percent.
