In Pakistan, the holiday is two days a week

Pakistan’s official duties would be reduced from six to five days each week. The government has announced a strategy for reducing energy and fuel usage. On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers approved the plan.

The coalition government’s cabinet has proposed a plan that includes different economic
measures to cut fuel and energy use. Pakistan’s energy problem has lately deteriorated. The timing of load shedding and rising fuel prices have had a negative impact on the economy.

Energy generation in the country is insufficient to satisfy rising demand during the summer
months.

We are in the middle of a significant crisis. Energy-saving measures must be implemented. ”We must investigate every possible energy-saving alternative,” says the author. On Tuesday, Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb addressed a press conference.

There are also plans in the works to allow individuals to work from home on Fridays and to
close commercial markets to relieve pressure on gas stations. The Council of Ministers has also resolved to cut the petrol allowance for government employees and Council of Ministers members by 40%.

The Council of Ministers also approved a complete ban on government officials and ministers traveling abroad for no reason. ”Only once the appropriate committee grants its clearance will compulsory visits and crucial bilateral trips are authorized,” stated Information Minister Aurangzeb.
