Kathmandu, June 8
437 people benefitted from a day-long free eye camp organized at the District Hospital in
Humla.
The eye camp, which was organized on Tuesday, was beneficial to the patients. Today, 36 of
them would have cataract surgery.
Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, the Health Service Office, the District Eye Care Center, the Humla chapter of the Nepal Red Cross Society, and the Humla chapter of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh organized the camp.
Eye patients from different rural municipalities, including Simkot and Kharpunath, received
service from the eye camp, according to Sarita Bohara, Senior Auxiliary Nurse Midwife at the District Hospital, Humla.
Similarly, on June 9, a free eye camp would be organized at Yalangba, Namkha Rural
Municipality.
