Nepal’s victory over Bhutan

Kathmandu, June 6

Nepal won the Asia qualification for the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup. On Monday, Nepal defeated Bhutan by four wickets in the second match.

Nepal took down the traditional winning mark of 67 runs in 13.1 overs, losing six wickets in the process. For Nepal, Sanu Rajbanshi scored the most runs with 30. In 32 balls, she hit five fours. Similarly, Prabin pitched in with 12 runs.

Sangya Wangmo took three wickets for 22 runs in four overs for Bhutan, while Anjuli Ghale and Sonam each claimed one wicket.

Bhutan, who won the toss and chose to bat first, lost nine wickets for 66 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Bhutan’s Ngawang Choden and Sangye Wangmol scored 11/11. The other batsmen were unable to reach double figures.

Sneha Mahara got one wicket for Nepal, while Anu Kadayat, Manisha Kumari Upadhyay, and
Kritika Marasini each took two for Bhutan. With the win, Nepal now has four points from two games.
