Wales qualifies for World Cup after 64 years

After 64 years, Wales has been selected for the FIFA World Cup. Wales qualified for the World Cup after defeating Ukraine in the playoffs on Sunday night.

After 1958, Wales failed to qualify for the World Cup. After a lengthy wait, Wales qualified for the World Cup after defeating Ukraine 1-0 in the playoffs.

Gareth Bell, the captain of Wales, scored from a free-kick. Wales qualified for the World Cup thanks to this goal.

Ukraine’s ambition to compete in the World Cup has failed, despite Wales reaching the final after 64 years. Because of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, the games were postponed. Ukraine which is engaged in a civil conflict, did not make it to the final round of voting.
