Kathmandu, June 6
Shweta Ganga Hydropower’s initial public offering (IPO) has been open from Monday. Since Monday, the corporation has distributed 10% of its outstanding capital, or 1.593 million shares, to project-affected residents.
Residents of wards 2, 3, and 4 of Ramechhap district’s Likhu Tamakoshi village municipality and wards 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Okhaldhunga district’s Likhu village municipality have been given 70 percent of the total eviction or 1.115 million shares.
Wards 5, 6, and 8 of the Likhu Tamakoshi village municipality in Ramechhap district, as well as wards 11 and 12, and 13 of Manthali municipality.
Similarly, the municipality of Likhu Tamakoshi in Ramechhap district has a ward number. 1
and of Okhaldhunga district’s Likhu village municipality. According to the firm, 1, 2, and 3 each were given 5% of the stock or 79,650 shares.
At a charge of Rs 100 per lot, locals would be allowed to apply for a minimum of 10 lots and a maximum of 100,000 lots.
If all of the shares provided to project impacted persons are not sold, the remaining shares will be offered to the general public, according to the firm. IPO applications can be submitted starting June 20 and ending July 5.
