Kathmandu, June 6
The CPN (Maoist Center) has agreed to charge party members a Rs 100 yearly tax. Raising levies from 800,000 party members at a cost of Rs 100 per person will generate Rs 80 million in annual revenue.
The previous standing committee voted to collect an annual fee of Rs 100 for running the
party’s office and important activities during a meeting held at Prachanda’s house in Khumaltar on Sunday morning.
