Kathmandu, June 5
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the world is facing the brunt of climate change in the form of snowmelt, lake-burst, flooding, and landslide.
People had to face various problems as a result of climate change, including a decline in
biological diversity, interruption in agriculture systems and crops, the occurrence of diseases, rain and temperature imbalances, and losses from natural disasters, according to the PM in a message of best wishes on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Himalayan, least developed and developing countries like Nepal and poor and marginalized
communities have been hit hard due to climate change, according to the message.
