Kathmandu, June 1
The Medical Education Commission has decided to raise tuition fees for medical education at the undergraduate level.
Based on the existing fee structure, the Commission’s ninth meeting on Tuesday decided to
hike the fee for new students from the next session by 3.6 percent.
The amount of tuition fees for medical students enrolled for the upcoming academic session
has been increased, according to Dr. Bhojraj Kafle, Member Secretary of the Commission.
According to Kafle, the fee has not been hiked in four years.
