Pokhara Airport resumes flight service

Kathmandu, May 31

After an oil tanker overturned at Pokhara Airport, flights have been suspended for almost an hour. The flight will continue after 9 am, according to Dev Raj Subedi, a spokesperson for Pokhara Airport.

Flight has been disrupted at Pokhara Airport after an oil tanker met with an accident. “Due to the sensitive area, the flight was delayed from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. It is now normal,” said Subedi.

Although oil spilled at the airport, no major damage was reported. The overturned tanker was lifted with the help of a crane and the oil spill was cleaned.
