Minister Ale removes Chairman Neupane of the Taragaun Committee

Kathmandu, May 31

Prahlad Neupane, head of the Taragaon Development Committee under the Ministry of
Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has been fired by the government. Prem Bahadur Ale, the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has fired Neupane.

Chairman Neupane was charged with collaborating with the Hyatt Regency Hotel and failing to protect government assets. The letter to Chairman Neupane has been filed with the
Development Committee’s office, according to the ministry. Employees of the Development Committee stated that Neupane used to come to work on a regular basis and even took use of the monthly salary facility, despite the fact that the position of chairperson in the committee act is completely valid.
