Binod Chaudhary, a Nepali Congress MP, and businessman estimates that 5 million visitors from India and China will visit Nepal each year.
He claimed that if the infrastructure sector could be developed, 5 million visitors from India and China might be recruited yearly, during a general discussion on the annual projections of income and spending for the fiscal year 2079-08 in the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday.
He claimed the state government should be given responsibility and control for the building of the East-West Highway 4-lane, stating that the government’s budget for the project was favorable. He said that the local level was responsible for controlling the coronavirus pandemic and that the state should be given responsibility for reducing economic growth and unemployment.
