Kathmandu, May 31
Bishnu Poudel, a former Finance Minister and Vice Chairman of the CPN-UML has said that the elected government has presented a manifesto rather than a budget.
Taking part in the discussion relating to the government’s allocation of budget for the
forthcoming fiscal year in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, former Finance Minister
Poudel lambasted the government for creating the financial responsibility it cannot carry
forward.
Poudel said that the budget in the form of an essay could not provide any delivery. He also
satirized the budget saying that it was like a petition written in a submissive tone.
