Kathmandu, May 31
Jhala Nath Khanal, a respected leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister of Nepal, met with Russian Ambassador Asexey Novikov. At a meeting with Ambassador Noviko this morning at Khanal’s Dallu house, the former Prime Minister expressed confidence that Nepal and Russia have a long and friendly connection that would continue to grow.
According to his secretariat, matters of mutual interest between the two countries were
covered during the meeting. According to Krishna Bhattarai, Khanal’s personal secretary, Ambassador Noviko expressed hope that Nepal-Russia relations will deepen and broaden in the days ahead.
