The Federation of Nepali Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs reported on Tuesday that gold and
silver prices had dropped. Gold decreased by Rs 200 per tola today, while silver fell by Rs 15 per tola, according to the Federation. As a result, today’s gold price in circulation is Rs 98,000 per tola, whereas acid gold costs Rs 97,500 per tola.
On Monday, gold was priced at Rs 98,200 and acid gold at Rs 97,700. On Monday, the price of gold increased by Rs 200 per tola over the previous day. Gold prices had been unchanged for the second day in a row prior to then. Similarly, today’s silver price has dropped by Rs. 15 per tola.
Today’s silver price is Rs 1,270 per tola, up from Rs 1,285 on Monday.
