Black box recovered from the crash site, 12 dead bodies to be airlifted to Kathmandu today

Kathmandu, May 31

The bodies of all 22 people on board the ill-fated Tara Air plane that crashed on Sunday in
Sanusare, Thasang Rural Municipality-2 of Mustang have been recovered. The Nepal Army
brought ten bodies from Pokhara to Kathmandu on Monday evening.

The bodies of all the passengers who died in the crash have been recovered, according to Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma of Mustang. On Monday, the bodies of ten people
were airlifted to Kathmandu, while the rest of the bodies have been shifted to Kobang from the crash site and are currently being airlifted to Kathmandu.

According to CDO Sharma, the black box has also been recovered from the crash site. The
remains and the black box are being transported to Kathmandu, according to the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority.
