From June 29, the government plans to vaccinate children aged five to twelve against the
coronavirus.
From June 29, the government plans to deliver 8.4 million Pfizer vaccines to children at no cost through the Covax facility.
By the 15th of Asar, 1.5 million vaccines had been received in the first phase. Rudra Prasad
Marasini has informed.
Dr. Marasini claims that Nepal has achieved significant progress in its coronavirus vaccine
effort.
By June 29, 1.5 million Pfizer vaccines will be distributed to children in the first round. ”Pfizer will be delivered initially to children in 21 districts who have been vaccinated in the past,” Dr. Marasini stated. ”Because we have a poor storage capacity of the vaccine, we are prepared to bring 10 to 1.5 million doses at a time.”
According to him, health professionals are being trained as Pfizer vaccinations are being
administered for the first time in 56 areas.
According to the Department of Health Services, there are around 3.4 million children aged five to eleven years old in the United States. They will be given 8.4 million vaccination shots at no cost. Nepal is the world’s first country to offer free Covax shots to children.
‘A vaccination costs around Rs 6.5 billion. Dr. Marasini claims that the government has saved money by distributing free vaccinations through the Covax facility by using syringes and solvents.
Those above the age of 12 should be vaccinated at a rate of 0.3 ml, while children aged five to twelve should be vaccinated at a pace of 0.2 ml. The Pfizer vaccination should be kept between minus 44 and plus 80 degrees Celsius.
