Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang inaugurates Paruhang Sapten mangkhim at international level ceremony

Gangtok,28 May: Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang accompanied by the Madam Chief Minister, Smt. Krishna Rai inaugurated the Paruhang Sapten Mangkhim cum international Kirat Rai Linguistic and cultural research center at Ranka, Rai Gaon.
The Chief Minister also visited the Mangkhim Complex and inaugurated the Statue of Kirateshwor and Yalamber.The programme began with the theme songs presented by Kutumba Band and Miss Remanti Rai and Manoj Rai.The welcome note was delivered by Smt. Beena Rai. The ceremony also had colorful ethnic presentations.President, Paruhang Spaten Magkhim Committee, Mohan Dungmali presented the Mangkhim Construction report.
The ceremony also felicitated the Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang, Founder Members of AKRS, Land Donors, Paruhang Sapten Mangkhim Committee, Money donors for land purchase, Contractors, Architects, Statue architect, and other delegates and supporters.
On the occasion the Chief Minister also Released different books written on Rai community.
The Chief Minister in his speech congratulated for the historic and grand inaugural of Paruhang Sapten Mangkhim cum international Kirat Rai Linguistic and cultural research center. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who have given their heart and mind to make this event a success.
He said that Sikkim is witnessing a continuous development in every sector and promised to work for the Sikkimese People with utmost dedication and hard work. The Chief Minister also urged everyone to protect and preserve their culture since it is an important factor which determines one’s real identity.
The Chief Minister also announced the construction of the Regional Linguistic center, Kirat Rai Mangkhim near a sacred cave at Parrengaon West Sikkim. Political Secretary to CM and Chief Patron Paruhang Sapten Mangkhim Inaugural committee, Jacob Khaling thanked the Chief Minister for his immense support and guidance.
The inaugural ceremony was also attended by the Speaker, SLA, L.B Das, Deputy Speaker, Sangay Lepcha, Cabinet Ministers, Member of Parliament, MLAs, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Political Secretary to CM, Press Secretary to CM, Advisors, Chairpersons, dignitaries, officials, guests from other states and countries, organizing community and local gentry.
