Kathmandu, May 25
Renu Dahal, the Bharatpur Metropolitan City’s re-elected mayor, took office today.
Renu has made three significant choices since gaining office. In which it is said that a city
dweller’s daughter would be provided free insurance if she is delivered in the government hospital in Bharatpur. The insurance sum, according to him, will be one lakh rupees for a period of 15 years.
She has also agreed to waive the fee for clients who use up to 7,000 liters of drinking water every month. Consumers who use up to 7,000 liters of drinking water per month will not be charged when the decision is implemented in the following fiscal year. She thinks that this choice will benefit around 52 percent of the city’s residents.
Mayor Dahal has made his third choice to offer drinking water to everyone from Bharatpur’s Chowki Danda to Golaghat in the next two years.
