UML wins in Pacharauta Municipality

Kathmandu, May 24

The CPN-UML candidates have won the mayor and deputy mayor in Pacharauta municipality in the Bara district.

UML candidate Jalandar Singh has been elected the mayor with 4,733 votes while his nearest rival Ramesh Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party received 4,461 votes.

Similarly, UML candidate Nasima Khatun has been elected the deputy mayor with 4,538 votes.

Her nearest rival Sagupha Khatun of the Janata Samajwadi Party received 4,163 votes.
