Kathmandu, May 24
The CPN-UML candidates have won in the Golbazar Municipality of Siraha.
UML candidate Shyam Kumar Shrestha has been elected as the mayor with 7,908 votes.
His nearest rival Dev Nath Sah of the Maoist Center got 5,701 votes.
Similarly, UML candidate Manti Sah has been elected as the deputy mayor with 7,703 votes
while her nearest rival Resham Kumari Thapa got 5,643 votes.
