The Nepse index of the stock market has dropped to 2200 points. The market fell 34.21 points on Monday, the first trading day of the week, to 2200.88 points. As the market has fallen, so has the transaction amount. All subgroups’ prices remained low on this day.
The most money was lost by investors in banking, hydropower, hotels and tourism, and life
insurance businesses. On Monday, a total of 39,17,655 shares from 224 firms were exchanged in 28,506 transactions. The entire amount of money exchanged was Rs 1.36 billion.
Gurans MFI’s stock climbed the highest on Monday, rising 6.20 percent to Rs 1,136.50. Prabhu Life Insurance’s share price increased by 5.26 percent to Rs 442.10. Mithila MFI’s stock declined the highest on this day, falling 5.89 percent to Rs 1,340. On Monday, the most active stock was Nabil Bank.
