Kathmandu, May 22
On public holidays, like Sunday, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City will provide service. The
office will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, according to information issued by the city on Friday.
According to a statement made by the metropolis’ department director, Mahesh Kafle, the revenue department and ward offices would be operating within that time frame.
According to the notice, the office is being run with the people’ needs in mind, as well as the need to do urgent work on Sunday.
With effect from May 15, the central government has decided to give public holidays on
Saturday and Sunday.
