Kathmandu, May 17
CPN-UML candidates have won for mayor and deputy mayor in Musikot municipality of Gulmi district. Jiv Lal Kharel has won the post of mayor and Ganga Shrestha has won the post of deputy mayor.
Kharel received 7,399 votes while his nearest rival Harinarayan Sapkota of the Nepali Congress received 6,066 votes.
Similarly, Deputy Mayor Shrestha got 7011 votes while his nearest rival Shri Ram Mahat of CPN-Unified Socialist got 6323 votes.
