Kathmandu, May 16
Chiribabu Maharjan of the Nepali Congress and Manjali Shakya of the CPN (UML) are leading in Lalitpur Metropolitan City. According to the latest results, Maharjan received 4,312 votes while Harikrishna Byanjankar received 2,038 votes for the UML.
In Kathmandu Metropolitan City, independent candidate Balen Shah has maintained his lead with almost double the number of votes.
Balen now has 6,207 votes, according to the most recent total. With 3,243 votes, CPN-Keshav UML’s Sthapit is in second place.
Chiribabu Maharjan in Lalitpur is liked by the citizen based on his previous work. On the other hand, Balen in Kathmandu is liked by people because of his commitment to creating a change in Kathmandu city.
