Nomination set for today after candidate’s demise

Kathmandu, May 11

The nomination of another candidate has been set for today after the passing away of CPN-
UML’s ward chair candidate for Tulsipur sub-metropolis-17 Labaru Chaudhary.

The nomination time for the UML candidate has been set for Wednesday from 10:00 AM to
1:00 PM, according to Rameswor Aryal, the Returning Officer of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis.

As informed, election symbols will be provided to the candidate by 5:00 PM Thursday.

The silence period will begin forward 17 from May 14 while publicity can be carried out up to Saturday midnight. Then after the silence period will commence. Polling day has been set for May 17.

Chaudhary passed away due to the liver and kidney-related complications. The vote count of the Tulsipur sub-metropolis will be done after the ward-17 election.
