Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), has said that the five political
parties have decided to forge an alliance to protect the country from political disaster.
Chairman Dahal argued that the collapse of the alliance would lead the country to a political disaster. Dahal clarified that they plan to continue the electoral alliance even in the provincial and federal elections.
Addressing an election rally organized by the ruling five-party alliance held in Pokhara on
Sunday, Chairman Dahal argued that the alliance was formed to safeguard the constitution and the democratic republic.
He said that the alliance is necessary for the country’s political stability and economic
development.
“We need to stand against the alliance of the monarchists,” he said, adding that reactionaries and opportunists are hatching a conspiracy to break the alliance.
