Kathmandu, May 6
The administration has agreed that schools with polling stations would be given three days off.
The Prime Minister’s Office and the Council of Ministers made a decision. From the 11th to the 13th of May, the Ministry of Education has decided to close schools that have polling stations and polling booths for three days. The ministry’s Education and Human Resource Development Center has ordered all 77-education development and coordination units to grant three days off to schools with polling stations.
Community schools across the country will be closed for three days as a result of the order.

Center stated that all schools may be closed because most of them are polling centers.
According to Deepak Sharma, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, the Center has
recommended that schools be closed on Thursday to allow all levels of government to perform voting and election-related administrative activities.
The school will be closed from May 11th to 13th due to a government decision. On Saturday, the 14th, it has fallen. The school will be closed on Sunday, May 16, in accordance with the government’s plan to grant two days of leave every week on Saturday and Sunday beginning May 15.
