Kathmandu, May 5
Rainfall has occurred in various parts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley.
While rain has been falling in the federal capital since Wednesday night, the Meteorological
Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast partly cloudy weather with the chance of light rain in the country’s hilly terrains in the afternoon.
Similarly, the Division has forecast light to moderate rains along with thunderstorms in parts of Pradesh 1, Madesh Pradesh, and Bagmati Pradesh, as well as a few other parts of the country, for tonight.
The weather system of the Himalayan nation is currently having impacted by a local, westerly, and low-pressure system that has formed from the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh to the plains of West Bengal.
