In Nepal, the number of taxpayers who have obtained a permanent account number (PAN) has reached 4.5 million.
Until mid-chaitra 2078 BS, a total of 4.67 million 202 persons had taken permanent account numbers, according to the Ministry of Finance.
So far, 17 lakh 53 thousand 642 people have received a permanent account number for their business, 29 lakh 4 thousand 771 people have received a permanent account number for their personal account, and 15 thousand 789 people have received a permanent account number for the purpose of advance tax deduction.
