Minister for Urban Development Ram Kumari Jhankri has said that she is serious about solving the problems of construction businessmen. Stating that the construction sector has become chaotic, she said that initiatives will be taken to address the necessary demands of the entrepreneurs.
During a meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs of Nepal on Saturday, Minister Jhankri said that she would take initiative to coordinate with other ministries. She said, “We are serious about solving the problems of construction businessmen.
Let’s take the initiative to solve the problem positively. Let’s not stop the construction work.”
Although there is no problem in extending the deadline for big projects, extending the deadline for small projects will create confusion about the new program, she said.
During the meeting, FNCCI President Ravi Singh requested to coordinate with other ministries to expedite the development project. She requested to adjust the price increase in construction materials.
