Ballot papers reach Darchula

99,000 ballot papers have arrived in the district for the upcoming local level election. The ballot papers are kept in the office of the Chief Election Officer.

According to Chitra Prakash Joshi, Election Officer at the District Election Officer, 58 different types of election related materials have reached the district. With this, necessary preparations have been accelerated to hold the local-level election.

Election Officer Pradip Singh Dhami said that activities are underway to allocate materials for each voting center.

Similarly, preparation has been made to impart training to voting officers and assistant voting officers to be deputed in elected within one or two days.

More than 1,000 employees are to be deputed in the district for the election.

There are a total of 88,285 voters in the district. According to the office, 110 voting centers and 139 polling booths have been determined.
