Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that youths can play an important role in ensuring free, fair, and peaceful local elections.
Inaugurating the ‘Ray Television HD’ on Sunday, Speaker Sapkota said, “Technology has brought forth revolution, narrowing down the world,” he said, adding that both the positive and negative aspects of the technology should be analyzed well.
He further said that youths have a lot of potentials. They can put their knowledge to good use for the country’s welfare.
FNCCI Chairperson Shekhar Golchha said during the occasion that television could help the
country’s social as well as economic development.
Chairperson of Nepal Chambers of Commerce Rajendra Malla said the media should play a
constructive role to prop up the national economy.
Chairperson of Ray Media Group Prakash Babu Poudel said the television will broadcast the
news giving priority to social, political, economic, and educational activities.
