Century Commercial Bank Limited has expanded its services by opening a new branch in
Gokarneshwor Municipality-8, Jorpati Makalbari, on April 20.
The service was introduced by Man Bahadur Rai, a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors, who also inaugurated the Makalwari branch. At the event, the bank’s Chairman Rajesh Kumar Shrestha, Director Geeta Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer Manoj Neupane, and other top executives were present. The Makalbari branch has brought the total number of bank branches in the Kathmandu Valley to 27.
The bank made a net profit of Rs. 1.156 billion by collecting Rs. 92.96 billion in deposits and Rs. 1.156 billion in loans. The profit is up 183.59 percent over the same time the previous year. For the first time, the bank was able to reduce its net profit by Rs 1 billion.
The Bank has been offering financial services through operating branches, branchless banking, and extension counters in various regions of the country with the goal of expanding services to both accessible and inaccessible portions of the country. The bank now has 130 locations around the country. The bank has 10 extension counters, 24 branchless banking locations, and 113 ATMs to provide financial services.
