The Bibeksheel Sajha Party has decided to nominate Samikchya Baskota as the candidate for the post of Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
A meeting of the party’s central committee held today has decided to nominate Baskota as
mayor and Kirti Tuladhar as the deputy mayor.
Baskota is a former coordinator of the party’s Bagmati province. Baskota, who has a law degree from the United States, is currently a central member of the party.
Similarly, Kirti Tuladhar is the former national chairperson of Jaycees. She has a master’s degree in education.
