Three killed in car-hit in Nepalgunj

Kathmandu, April 11

On Sunday night, three people were killed after being hit by a car in Nepalgunj.

Chief of Banke District Traffic Police Office, Police Inspector Himalaya Shah shared that the
deceased have been identified as Samina Idrisi, 65, of Nepalgunj-11, five-year-old Kasim Idrisi, and Ali Idrisi whose age hasn’t been verified.

The accident took place when an ill-fated car, Pradesh 3-01-23 Cha 8481, struck them while they were walking on the road in Nepalgunj-11.

The car driver Indra Bahadur Thapa, 28, of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-10 took all the
critically injured pedestrians to the Teaching Hospital at Nepalgunj. The hospital pronounced them dead after 15 minutes.

According to Inspector Shah, Thapa has been arrested and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
