Kathmandu, April 4
Members of the ruling coalition have agreed to form an electoral alliance at all local level units in Chitwan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center),
CPN-Unified Socialist, JSP, and Rastriya Janamorcha Party.
The CPN (Maoist Center) has claimed the post of Mayor in Bharatpur Metropolis. However, the coalition members are yet to decide in this regard.
A coalition meeting held on Monday at the Nepali Congress Party office in Chitwan decided to form an electoral alliance in all local units in the upcoming local level election.
Chitwan district comprises seven local units.
