Kathmandu, April 4

The Supreme Court (SC) is hearing a writ petition filed by three Deputy Inspector Generals
(DIGs), who have gone to the Supreme Court (SC) alleging discrimination in the promotion to the post of Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG).

The writ hearing scheduled on Sunday has been postponed for today.

The hearing of the writ petition has been scheduled on a single bench of Justice Kumar Regmi.

DIGs Ishwar Babu Karki, Ghanshyam Aryal, and Prakash Jung Karki had filed a writ petition in the SC last Thursday against the Government of Nepal, the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Council of Ministers.
