Kathmandu, March 31
After the promotion of three Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) to Additional Inspector Generals (AIGs), two DIGs have gone to the Supreme Court (SC) against the decision.
On Thursday, DIGs Ghanshyam Aryal and Prakash Jung Karki went to the Supreme Court to file a writ petition against the Cabinet decision.
The writ petition has not yet been registered, according to the apex court administration.
DIGs Basanta Kumar Pant, Dhiraj Pratap Singh, and Rabindra Bahadur Dhanuk were promoted to AIGs at a Cabinet meeting on Thursday morning.
