Kathmandu, March 31
The Council of Ministers has decided to promote three Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of
Nepal Police to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG).
On March 15, the promotion committee headed by Home Ministry Secretary Teknarayan
Pandey had recommended the promotion of Dhiraj Pratap Singh, Basant Pant, and Rabindra
Bahadur Dhanuk to AIG.
A cabinet meeting on Thursday approved the recommendation, a minister said.
