Kathmandu, March 31
At the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, a meeting of the Council of Ministers has started.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, who is
also the government’s spokesperson, said that a cabinet meeting has started at 8:30 a.m.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a cabinet meeting prior to the ruling coalition meeting which is slated for 11 am today.
With the election code of conduct set to be in place from April 8, today’s meeting is expected to take important decisions.
Prime Minister Deuba is leaving for southern neighbor India tomorrow.
