Kathmandu, March 29
The major ruling party, the Nepali Congress, is deciding today whether to ally with other parties in the upcoming election.
The NC’s central working committee (CWC) meeting, which is set for today, will officially decide on the electoral alliance, according to Dr. Prakash Saran Mahat, the party’s spokesperson.
Since Friday, the CWC meeting has been taking place. In a meeting on Monday, CWC members expressed their views on the electoral alliance.
The CWC meeting has been called at the central party office in Sanepa at 3 pm, informed chief secretary of the central party office Krishna Prasad Paudel.
